Chives

One “clump” in a 4.5” pot. Cold-hardy.

Chives are great - they are rabbit and squirrel resistant, have brilliant purple flowers that pollinators love, can handle our dry, windy climate, come back year after year, and are a lovely garnish for some of our favorite dishes.

We try to plant at least one clump close to the house - making it easy to go out and harvest a handful to add to our eggs, soups, mashed potatoes, etc.
