Like many of our favorite perennials, these are low-maintenance, pest-free, and fairly drought resistant, with beautiful flowers. Not picky about soil type, these were some of the first flowers we stuck in the soil (aka ‘sand’) at Ripcord, and they impressed us with their resilience.
The flowers also have the bonus of being edible - being similar in taste (and culinary uses) to zucchini and squash blossoms.
